Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 is a program to ensure that hazardous waste is managed safely. 

Generator Size (calendar month):

  • Very small quantity generators (VSQGs)
    • Less than 220 lbs waste
  • Small quantity generators (SQGs)
    • Between 220 lbs waste and 2,200 lbs
  • Large quantity generators (LQG)
    • More than 2,200 lbs waste
